Yes. The Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel has concluded that Undecenoyl Glycine is safe for use in cosmetic products at concentrations up to 0.3% in leave-on formulations (when the formulation is non-irritating). It is considered safe for use in rinse-off formulations as well. Additionally, based on data from the China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) International Cosmetic Safety Assessment Data Index, Undecenoyl Glycine is used at a concentration of 0.5% in full-body leave-on products. For rinse-off products, the same concentration (0.5%) is considered safe by referencing the leave-on usage data.
Under normal, reasonable, and foreseeable conditions of use at these levels, ZLEY® UG does not pose a risk to human health.
