ZLEY®CAG – Capryloyl Glycine is a lipoamino acid derived from the acylation of glycine with a capryloyl fatty chain. Glycine provides hydrophilicity, while caprylic acid provides lipophilicity, enabling Capryloyl Glycine to possess both moisturizing (oil-like) and hydrating (water-like) abilities. It helps regulate skin pH, and reduces desquamation and flaking.

This biomimetic amphiphilic structure gives Capryloyl Glycine excellent skin affinity, allowing for high efficacy and improved delivery of other active ingredients, thereby improving the performance of other functional products.

As a skin acidifying agent, it balances skin pH, rebuilds the skin’s acidic barrier, and promotes rapid equilibration of the skin’s microecological system. It supports the growth of beneficial resident skin flora, inhibits the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria, and strengthens the skin’s barrier function.
