ZLEY®BIOCARE-CP is a cosmetic compound preservative composed of Chlorphenesin, Phenoxypropanediol, 1,3-Propanediol, and Water.

Chlorphenesin is a widely used preservative with a maximum recommended concentration of 0.3%.

Phenoxypropanediol shares structural similarity with Chlorphenesin and demonstrates broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. While not listed as a preservative, it acts as a synergistic preservative enhancer, helping to lower the required dosage of traditional preservatives in formulations. This contributes to milder, safer products while ensuring effective preservation.

ZLEY®BIOCARE-CP is a new-generation broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent that is free from parabens and formaldehyde-releasing compounds. It offers excellent solubility without needing additional solubilizers, is compatible with a wide pH range, and demonstrates strong formulation stability—including high thermal resistance up to 80°C. It effectively protects cosmetics from microbial contamination while enhancing product mildness.
